Today's run was a drudgery. I did not enjoy it at all. I felt more out of breath and labored compared to other runs. May be because I was not feeling much excited about running today. But I pushed through and did a 3:1 Run/Walk interval for 8 times. I was not in rhythm and mostly felt out of place. I am trying for "easy" in running. I still don't like to run which is not what I want. But want to love it, It is a great workout. I have experienced "flow" in running where I was running effortlessly, this happened last year on a long run (12km). I just kept running and was not feeling like I am pushing myself. I want to experience that all the time.
Only more running can help me do that. May be its the time of run which I need to change. Next week I will try running in the evenings to see how it affects me. Not sure if it is a great idea but its worth a try. Also planning to mix Cycling workout in between runs. I am currently running 4 times a week, can do cycling for 2-3 days. Lets see how it goes.
